The Jeanneau 64 is one of the all time greats when it comes to style and comfort at a great price. Modern yacht design has been trending towards gaining volume to increase living space inside, the Jeanneau 64 has taken this to another level. At 20m overall she has a vast cockpit comparable with a much larger yacht and easily capable of seating 10 for dining with both sides offering convertible seating to become sunbathing areas while sailing or at anchor. The helms and sailing cockpit are further aft making this not only an easy to handle yacht but a safe one too. Down below you will be blown away by the amount of space designer Briand has given Andrew Winch (interior designer) to play with. Standard layout is 4 cabins with a spacious owners cabin either aft or forward plus 2 VIP doubles or twins and a 4th lateral bunk cabin. Crew of 2 are accommodated forwards in an ensuite bunk cabin giving them plenty of space to sleep and relax between watches. Set the sails via either the optional in mast or in boom furling and you are off in the lightest of breeze. Unfurl the Code 0 and she comes alive.
What We Say
All of this has made the Jeanneau 64 one of our most successful charter yachts ever, perfectly laid out for luxury crewed charter accommodating the magic number of 8 guests with permanent and comfortable crew accommodation. We have managed 5 of these yachts since their inception in 2015. They have all had different focusses on their programmes with yachts doing Owner focussed programmes of 0-5 weeks charter per year and full on charter programmes with yachts regularly getting 20+ weeks charter per year. The fantastic price point of a fully specced, equipped and setup yacht coming in around €1.5m Euro and charter fees of €17,000 per week make this an excellent proposition. So popular are they that very few have made it onto the used market to date but those that have have commanded high resale values showing low early production depreciation.
